Mountain Proposal at Breckenridge Resort | Joshua + Jessica
Joshua contacted me after seeing images from a Colorado snowboarding proposal I photographed. He was coming into town from Missouri and wanted to do something similar to propose to his girlfriend. We decided to do the shoot at Breckenridge Mountain while they were skiing.
After the actual proposal they skied down the mountain. I had set up a picnic basket with Blanc de Bleu mini Champagne bottles (so we didn’t have to bring glasses up on the snow covered mountain). They were so cute drinking the champagne out of straws!
I love photographing adventurous moments with couples and was so glad to be a part of this proposal on skis. It’s great when people can just be natural, have fun and enjoy themselves!
After their photo session we were heading back to their hotel and Jessica confessed to me that Joshua had been acting so weird she actually thought he was going to break up with her on the trip! She was obviously happily surprised! They are planning their wedding back in Missouri. I wish them a happy future!
